Game Night hosted by Northrop Grumman
Join your NSMMS & CRASTE colleagues for a night of baseball, food, drinks and networking. The Madison Mallards, a collegiate minor league baseball team, will host the Rockford Rivets on Tuesday, June 28th at 6:35pm. The stadium is 15 minutes away from Monona Terrace and bussing will be provided. There is no additional fee for attendees to participate in this networking function. However, if you are interested in attending, you will need to RSVP online via your registration and you will receive your ticket when you check-in onsite for the conference. The ticket includes space for NSMMS & CRASTE networking and seating, all you can eat food until 7:30 pm and bottomless beverages through the end of the game (or until 9;00 pm, whichever comes first). Guest tickets are available through registration for $50 each. Confirmations via the registration form need to be received by 10 June 2022. After this date, if you RSVP to attend, we will contact you to confirm if we are able to get you (and your guests) a seat(s).

Badger Propulsion Test Facility Tour

Join us Thursday afternoon for a tour of Badger Propulsion Test Facility – just outside Madison – where Sierra Space is developing and testing liquid and hybrid rocket engines and systems using a wide variety of propellants, including small in-space propulsion and upper-stage engines.
You will learn about capabilities for testing rocket engines at thrust levels from 1lbf up to 150,000lbf, where configured test cells have the option of using nitrous oxide, methane, peroxide, and other propellants.

Core Products & Subsystems

  • Spacecraft and vehicle propulsion (0.1 to 1,000 lbf thrust)
  • Upper stage, orbital transfer and planetary descent/ascent engines (to 100,000 lbf thrust)
  • VORTEX hybrid engines (solid fuel with liquid oxidizer); throttleable, restartable, storable
  • Advanced thrusters and engines for custom national security needs
