Security Information

This conference is open to U.S. Citizens Only and contains ITAR, Military Critical, and Distro C material. The event contains Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and is not open to the general public or press.

To attend the event you must be a:

1. U.S. government employee or a U.S. government contractor* who demonstrates they are a,
2. U.S. born or naturalized citizen (not a green card holder) and demonstrates they are,
3. A person qualified to access Military Critical data.

* U.S. subsidiaries of parent foreign companies may attend if they have extra controls in place with the U.S. government. Contact our registration team for more information if this applies to you.

Protection of Information

As a registered attendee of the Symposium, you have a personal responsibility to help protect the data exchanged at this event. This includes responsibly managing your electronic devices (phones, computers, cameras, tablets, etc.), as well as your conversations before, during, and after the event regarding symposium-related information. Be smarter than our adversaries!

Proof of Citizenship

Acceptable forms of documentation include your U.S. passport, U.S. birth certificate, U.S. naturalization certificate or a signed letter verifying U.S. citizenship status on company letterhead from your security manager or HR representative. This letter does not need to contain sensitive information, but must state the method used to verify citizenship (I-9s are not an acceptable means for verification). Additionally, you may have your security office submit citizenship verification via DISS to SMO 6RHV8.

DD2345 Certification

The DD2345 Certification is required for non-government/non-military attendance at this event. Military personnel and DoD/NASA federal employees are exempt from the DD2345 certification requirements.

During the NSMMS & CRASTE registration process, non-government attendees - including contractors working at government sites - will be asked to submit their organization’s cage code, military critical certification number, date of military critical expiration, and a copy of their certified Military Critical Form (DD2345). Things to note about the DD2345:

• Please make it a priority to check the status of your DD2345 by contacting your security or export control office. If you do not have a valid DD2345, your secuirty/export control office should start the process of obtaining one as soon as possible.
• If your DD2345 is expiring prior to the event, start the renewal process right away. The process to obtain or update one has become increasingly complex and processing time is unpredictable. (Please note your company must first have have a Dun & Bradstreet number, http://www.dnb.com/get-a-duns-number.html and be registered in SAM, http://www.sam.gov.)
• When either applying for a new DD2345 certification, submitting a revision or applying for a 5-year renewal, be sure you download the most current application form here.
• DD2345 filing instructions can be found here.
• The DD2345 certification is issued solely by the Joint Certification Program Office (JCP). Please refer to the General Instructions page for submission details and for accessing JCP Portal.
• The JCP will notify each company's data custodian (the individual listed under part 3 on the form - 3. DATA CUSTODIAN) by email if the company's request for certification has been approved or rejected. Questions regarding the application approval process should be directed to the Joint Certification Office via email to jcp-admin@dla.mil.
