JPL Tour
Friday, February 13th
1:00 pm
JPL is continuously pushing the outer edge of space exploration and continues to encounter new and exciting discoveries around Earth, the solar system and beyond. JPL is the leading U.S. center for robotic exploration of the solar system, and has 19 spacecraft and 10 major instruments carrying out planetary, Earth science and space-based astronomy missions.
The JPL Public Services Office offers tours for groups and individuals on an advance reservation basis. We are fortunate to be able to provide a private tour for our NFCS Attendees. All tours commonly include a multimedia presentation on JPL entitled "Journey to the Planets and Beyond," which provides an overview of the Laboratory's activities and accomplishments. Guests may also visit the von Karman Visitor Center, the Space Flight Operations Facility, and the Spacecraft Assembly Facility.
The tour will take place on Friday, February 13th at 1:00 pm and generally lasts 2-2.5 hours. Space is limited, so please RSVP to Amy Walker at awalker@blue52productions.com by January 9th to reserve your spot now.
Each participant is responsible for their own transportation and must present a valid driver's license to attend the tour.
