All attendees must be U.S. born or naturalized citizens, and must work for a U.S.-based company.

Admission Into NSMMS & CRASTE

These Symposia are restricted to U.S. citizens only who work for a U.S. company or organization; are ITAR Restricted in accordance with DoD Directive 5230.25 under the provisions of the Arms Export Control Act; and contain Military Critical data. This event is not open to the general public. Green Card holders are not permitted to attend; born or naturalized United States’ citizenship is required. Exhibitors must be U.S. companies or organizations. Admission requires the following things:

  1. Proof that you are a U.S. Born or Naturalized Citizen (Green Cards are not accepted for admittance into the symposium.)
  2. Non-Government Attendees Only: DD2345 Certification. All non-government attendees must have an active DD2345 (Military Critical Certification) at the time of the event to attend. Please make it a priority to check the status of your DD2345. If you do not have one, you should start the process of obtaining one as soon as possible. If your DD2345 is expiring prior to the event, start the renewal process right away. The process to obtain or update one has become increasingly complex and processing time is unpredictable. All non-government attendees must have an active DD2345 at the time of the event to attend and the processing time can be unpredictable.

(1) Proof you are a U.S. Citizen

You are required to provide proof that you are a U.S. born or naturalized citizen to attend NSMMS & CRASTE. Green Card holders will not be admitted to the event. Acceptable forms of documentation include your U.S. passport, U.S. birth certificate, U.S. naturalization certificate or a signed letter verifying U.S. citizenship status on company letterhead from your security manager or HR representative. This letter does not need to contain sensitive information, but must state the method used to verify citizenship. Additionally, you may have your security office submit citizenship verification via DISS to SMO 6RHV8.

(2) Non-Government Attendees ONLY: DD2345 Certification

The DD2345 Certification is required for attendance at these symposia. The DD2345 certification is issued solely by the Joint Certification Program Office (JCP). You may check now to search for your company DD2345 by visiting the JCP website.

Military personnel and DoD/NASA federal employees are exempt from the DD2345 certification requirements. All other attendees must submit their certification number and send a copy of their certified DD2345 to Blue52 Productions, LLC. Please submit this information on the registration page or via email to Sherry Johnson at sjohnson@blue52productions.com.

DD2345 Certification Tips

If you do not have a valid DD2345 certification for attendance, we urge you to apply right away to ensure the JCP will have adequate time to process and vet your application. Please refer to the DD2345 instructions by clicking here.

When either applying for a new DD2345 certification, submitting a revision or applying for a 5-year renewal, be sure you download the most current application form here.

To file for an organizational or university form, your company must have a Dun & Bradstreet number, http://www.dnb.com/get-a-duns-number.html and be registered in SAM, http://www.sam.gov.

Notification of Certification

The JCP will notify each company's data custodian (the individual listed under part 3 on the form - 3. DATA CUSTODIAN) by email if the company's request for certification has been approved or rejected. Questions regarding the application approval process should be directed to the Joint Certification Office via email to jcp-admin@dla.mil.

Protection of Information

Attendees have a personal responsibility to protect the ITAR and military critical data discussed and presented at these symposia. Your registration and security approval is for your participation only. If the conference is held online, technical sessions should be watched in private, should not be shared with colleagues, and must be viewed in an area where others may not hear or see the content due to its CUI nature. Headsets are encouraged.
