Disney’s “Keys to the Kingdom” Tour
Friday, February 8th 2019
9:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Description of the Tour: Keys to the Kingdom is a history and heritage Private tour filled with information about how the Magic Kingdom Park was designed, who some of the key players were, and details about many of the areas required to operate the park daily. This is a walking tour to go behind-the-scenes in Magic Kingdom. Each group of twenty or fewer tour members will have one tour guide. The tour will visit stages, studios, and the underground service tunnels (Utilidor). Topics of discussion will be the history of Magic Kingdom, the mystery of the underground service tunnels, and the story of Walt Disney’s vision for the park. Once the tour has concluded, the tour guide will escort the group to outside the Magic Kingdom front gate. PLEASE NOTE: Tour Participation DOES NOT include access to the amusement park itself. If you plan to visit the park after the tour, you will need to purchase tickets on your own. This can be done via the Shades of Green website or with Disney directly.

Start Time: 9:30 AM just outside the front entrance to Magic Kingdom. There is a 30-minute boat or monorail trip to the front entrance of Magic Kingdom, so please plan on that. We will identify the exact gathering location well before the tour start date.

Cost and Cancellation: The highly discounted price for the tour is $98.00 per person. If the price changes, you will have a chance to cancel by 9 January 2019. You can sign up and pay for this tour through your NFCS registration. Refunds will be given until 9 January 2019. After that date, no refunds will be issued.

Dress and Gear: Since this is a walking tour, wear comfortable walking shoes and loose clothing. Watch the weather to see if rain gear is needed. Do not weigh yourself down with heavy bags or backpacks.

Restrictions: The tour is available to individuals that are 16 years of age or older. Bags will be searched on entry to Magic Kingdom. The tour does not include shopping for gifts or taking any Magic Kingdom rides. Photography of the behind the scenes areas is not permitted.

Mobility Concerns or Restrictions: Standard and electric wheelchairs can be rented at Magic Kingdom; please note this need when you register.
