The NFCS would like to provide an opportunity for guests of attendees to meet and greet each other. You may participate in one or both, but when you send in your RSVP, please indicate what you plan to participate in so reservations can be made accordingly.
Monday, 5 February, 11 am: Lunch at the Grove Restaurant (at The Modern)- 1775 Ala Moana Blvd.
Tuesday, 6 February, 9:15 am – 1:15 pm: Trip to the Royal Hawaiian Center (~ 1 mile walk from the Prince Waikiki). Meet in the Prince Waikiki lobby at 9:05 for a 9:15 bus departure or leave yourself 20 minutes to walk over. This outing will begin with a stop at the Island Vintage Coffee shop (2nd floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center). At 10:00 am, the Royal Hawaiian Center opens and will provide an opportunity to shop, participate in complimentary cultural programming such as hula, a ukulele lesson, or lauhala weaving, and have lunch. The return bus will depart promptly at 1:15 pm from the drop off point to go back to the hotel, but guests are free to stay longer if they would like to walk or drive on their own.
