James Webb Space Telescope Tour & Aerospace in Motion

Who Can Attend: All HTSC Attendees & Attendee Guests
Location: 5470 Marine Ave, Redondo Beach, CA 90278
(You may use the VIP parking stalls west of the E2 building.)

The group will meet for badging in the E2 Lobby. Participants will see a presentation on the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST), receive a JWST Tour and will visit Aerospace in Motion for a short, guided tour through the museum which shows Northrop Grumman’s heritage, capabilities, people, patents, etc. It showcases several models and interactive displays. Please wear comfortable shoes.

The tour is free and open to all conference attendees and guests, but you must register by Friday, August 17 to attend. You can register by contacting Amy Voisard at avoisard@blue52productions.com. Please bring a government issued ID to check-in. This is an unclassified tour.











Virgin Orbit Tour

Friday, August 31st 2018 from 9:30 am – 10:30 am

Who Can Attend: Government Civilians & Military HTSC Attendees
Location: 4022 East Conant Street
Long Beach, CA 90808
(Virgin Orbit has a parking lot, however, carpooling is highly recommended.)

The tour will begin in the lobby at 9:30 am. The tour will take you through the entire factory floor. You will see composites layup and finishing, propulsion integration, quality inspection, and avionics, as well as some of the large test fixtures. They will also have some test fire videos and live stream videos from the Mojave test site. You will see several rockets in various build stages being worked on throughout the factory. Please wear comfortable, closed-toed shoes.

The tour is free and open to all government civilian and military conference attendees, but you must register by Monday, August 13. You can register by contacting Amy Voisard at avoisard@blue52productions.com. All attendees must also be U.S. Persons and must bring their passports or birth certificates with them in order to gain access to the facility. If you bring a U.S. Passport then no additional ID is required. If you bring a birth certificate then a photo ID (i.e. driver’s license) must also be presented along with the birth certificate (birth certificate + photo ID).
