NFCS Women's Forum

The second NFCS Women’s Forum panel discussion and luncheon was held on Tuesday, 2 August.  The theme of this event was “Work Life Balance.”

The Women’s Forum featured a panel of highly successful women with a keen awareness of the technical, organizational and leadership challenges and opportunities for women with responsibilities in the area of national fire control.  Panelists brought their expertise across a variety of programs and represented views from the military, government and industry perspective.  The panelists discussed experiences from their own careers, the dynamics of advancing in the technical and business environment, the kind of challenges women uniquely face in achieving their goals, and how to capitalize on opportunities and strategies for career success.  This was a great opportunity to interact with the panel in a casual setting as well as meet other women working toward the fire control solution.
