2D Materials beyond graphene for DoD electronic device applications

Organizers: Andrey Voevodin AFRL/RX, Ken Goretta AFRL/AFOSR, Pani Varanasi, ARL/ARO

Description: The two-dimensional (2D) class of materials with unique properties is rapidly evolving beyond graphene, including additions of tunable semiconducting materials, which offer exciting opportunities for RF transistors, optoelectronics, sensors, computing, and other critical devices for next-generation DoD systems. The tutorial brings leading industry and academia experts to review the state of the art, challenges, and opportunities for rapid insertion of 2D material based electronic devices into DoD applications.
